about

Hall's 2008 album was released & maintained a simple existence completely under the radar. By that time, most of his devotees had moved on & left the Blue Ridge foothills for greener pastures. Still, Hall poured his soul out across 13 proper cuts & an EP's worth of hidden tracks.

"Brian (we call him a “laser beam of soul,”), creates these wonderful portraits of life in small-town America, and he does it with such a big heart, such authenticity and depth of feeling—it’s just wonderful, soulful music and I’m really grateful Brian continues to share his gift with all of us."
