about

Having traded in his birth name for this stellar moniker, Hall's yarns of life in south central Virginia continues to be spun as "Orquestra Altavista".

Back in 2008, Brian surfaced socially for a time. He'd come by & visit with Nathan, Joanna & a few other friends. During this time, Brian tracked some harmonica for Virgineola & began talking of a new solo record. For several weeks, Brian would spend hours with Nathan working through coffee cans worth of CD-R's containing recorded tunes (lots of demos, but lots of keepers as well). Then, as soon as he appeared, he returned to the ether, rarely to be heard from again.

FIVE YEARS LATER, Nathan receives a package in the mail with this record (containing most of the "keepers" from those coffee cans), another "Orquestra Altavista" full-length, & a three disc set of ambient guitar based music a la "Performs In The Dark".
